We meet fortnightly to work on the Society’s Collections, cleaning and sorting them and making databases to facilitate use of them. No previous experience needed, all are welcome. Come and have real “hands-on” pleasure with some fascinating objects.

We will look at the effects of climate change that have already been felt here in the UK and elsewhere in the World. In Humfrey Rooms unless Covid restrictions prevent.

Modern computer techniques have revolutionised geological mapping in the past twenty years. Bob Purser will introduce how drone photography has been used and how 3D maps provide new opportunities for the way in which we see our world

The MCPF Travelling Portfolio includes the award- winning entries and a selections of the best entries of the 2022 Midland Counties Photographic Federation Photofolio Exhibition. This is a chance to see these images locally without having to travel to the original exhibition.
