The Billy Joel Songbook

The greatest love letter ever to the genius that is Billy Joel is returning in 2024! The hugely acclaimed singer-songwriter and pianist Elio Pace  and his incredible band are set to thrill UK audiences once more with the smash-hit award-winning show The Billy Joel Songbook after a sell out tour in 2022. This exciting live show pays homage to one of the most iconic musicians, singer-songwriters and composers of the 20th Century, transporting the audience through a catalogue of Joel’s music.  Elio and his band will perform more than 30 hits, including The Longest Time, She’s Always A Woman, An Innocent Man, Uptown Girl, Tell Her About It, The River of Dreams, We Didn’t Start The Fire and Piano Man.

The National Theatre Connections Festival is a celebration of young people, theatre and the importance of access to the arts. Each year the National Theatre commissions a collection of new plays for young people to perform, bringing together some of the UK’s most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow. Royal & Derngate hosts the largest and most diverse of the regional festivals that take place across the country, and we are delighted to welcome hundreds of young people to Northampton again this April. Groups from across the region will perform a host of exciting new plays, including Age Is Revolting by Abi Zakarian, Shout by Alex Zegerman, Replica by Titus Halder, Windrush/Gen. by Mojisola Adebayo, Kiss, Marry, PushOffCliff by Josh Azouz, Sad Club by Luke Barnes with Music by Adam Pleeth, Orchestra by Charlie Josephine, The Periodicals by Siân Owen and Back In The Day by Yasmeen Khan. Royal and Derngate’s own Young Company: Acting Group will be taking part in the festival performing The Periodicals by Siân Owen on Mon 11 – Tue 12 March. Click here to book.
