The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra return to the Derngate for a performance of some of the most-loved classical music in the orchestral repertoire.

Regarded as one of the greatest orchestral works of the twentieth century, Elgar’s Enigma Variations continues to intrigue audiences, with its main theme hidden amongst a characterful set of musical dedications to the composer’s friends and loved ones.

Mendelssohn captures the wonder and wit of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream filled with fairies, mischief and, of course, love.
