Taking Liberties! features posters, banners, drawings and collages designed by Jamie Reid with the express purpose of viscerally grabbing the public’s attention, increasing awareness of campaigns for social justice and change.

Found in the Fields is an exhibition of sixteen images by artist Carry Akroyd incorporating words form the poet John Clare, for Akroyd this is a reoccurring theme. Throughout her enjoyment of colour and sense of composition combine productively with her eye for bird life and botany.

Northampton Museum & Art Gallery Calling all bibliophiles. Northampton Museum and Art Gallery is pleased to be hosting our first ever book fair. Stalls will include vendors offering a range of genres from heritage and history through to children’s fiction and cookery. Whether you’re looking to pick up your next bedside novel or simply want to network with the local booklover’s community, there is something for everyone! We invite authors, literary societies and publishers from across Northamptonshire to participate by reserving a stall. Entry will be free to the public, however we recommend bringing some cash on the day if you wish to purchase books as not every stallholder may accept card payments. The fee for stallholders is £35. Please read our terms and conditions before filling out an application form. Participants will be selected on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited, so apply now. Completed applications must be received by midnight on Sunday 15 September 2023.
