These activities are free of charge (donations welcome) with a different theme each week. We will also be joined by the Northamptonshire Central Libraries Team who will be providing storytelling, making activities and even a chance to take part in the libraries summer Lego challenge. We have been lucky enough to welcome a whole host of talented musicians to the Bradlaugh stage as part of our Jazz & Blues night, including the Ginger Pig Band and rising star Beau Holland (not long returned from a tour supporting Bastille in The States!) 2023 marks the 75th anniversary of when HMT Empire Windrush docked at Tilbury on 22 June 1948 bringing one of the first large groups of West Indian immigrants. A significant number of West Indians made their way from London to live and work in Northampton. This digital exhibition tells the story of those who arrived in the 1950s and later.
