The magic of Christmas will be brought to life on the Market Square every Saturday leading up to the big day. Join us at the Christmas Bandstand for live festive entertainment including musical performances from local singers, choirs, bands and community groups.
On Saturday 17 December, we have teamed up with V and B on St Giles Square to host a festive sing-along around the Christmas tree. From 11am - 4pm there will be performances from carol singers and local musicians – the perfect backdrop to your Christmas shopping on the last Saturday before the big day! 'Elves with Altitude', Vince Pie and Russell Sprout are on a very special mission - to spread the gift of laughter with their 'Rudolph' upgrade biplanes (Rudolph the red-nosed plane-deer!) Checking whether you've been naughty or nice (or borderline!), the magical 'Good-o-Meter' Elves will be joining in the festivities too ticking off their list for Santa.
