Some of the very best young ballet graduates from around the world get their moment in the spotlight in this programme which includes sparkling classical highlights from Frederick Ashton’s Rhapsody, created in 1981 for Mikhail Baryshnikov and Lesley Collier, Carlos Acosta’s own temperature-raising Carmen, Bournonville’s delightful La Sylphide, Petipa’s explosive Diana and Actaeon pas de deux, and Carlos’s own new interpretation of Fokine’s The Dying Swan, featuring two dancers. Sessions to introduce rhymes and songs to your child to encourage interaction and develop communication skills. Please note that the Bounce and Rhyme sessions will be run on a first-come, first-serve basis on the day and it will not be possible to book in advance. Jazz & Blues has become a firm favourite mid-week treat for local music lovers. We have been lucky enough to welcome a whole host of talented musicians to the Bradlaugh stage as part of our Jazz & Blues night, including the Ginger Pig Band and rising star Beau Holland (not long returned from a tour supporting Bastille in The States!)
