This musical, based on the true story and the hit film Calendar Girls, is coming to Royal & Derngate in November. Having performed over 30 shows on the Derngate stage, including most recently Shrek The Musical and Made In Dagenham, Northampton Musical Theatre Company return once again to perform this heartwarming and funny story by Tim Firth, accompanied with music and lyrics by Gary Barlow. If you have ever wondered what separates slipware from stoneware or how to tell an engraving from an etching, this lecture series is for you. Join us as we explore some of the creative processes’ artists have deployed over millennia and de-mystify the jargon surrounding techniques as diverse as pottery, medieval and modern sculpture, printing and tempera painting.
