In this exhibition we take a closer look at the design, technology, cultural influences and environmental impact of the trainer and showcase our own trainer collection, the largest owned by a public institution.

The hilarious Bob Golding returns to Royal & Derngate as Dame Trott, and the wonderful Alex Lodge, who appeared as Dick Whittington last year, is back as Jack!

Written by Paul Hendy, it is produced by Evolution, the same team behind last year’s smash hit Dick Whittington, and winners of the 2021 British Pantomime Award for Best Panto.
