Snow White Christmas Family Panto 2022 – The Deco

The Deco The Deco, Abington Square, Northampton NN1 4AE

Hiss at the Wicked Queen, laugh at the comic Super Seven and fall in love with the beautiful and innocent Snow White. Snow White and her Super Seven will be spectacularly brought to life with an abundance of comedy, sensational song and dance numbers, fabulous costumes and stunning scenery. Throw in a magical Mirror, seven friendly dwarfs, a beautiful princess, a handsome prince and plenty of audience participation as we outwit the Wicked Queen and let love prevail in this glittering festive treat for all ages.

Santa’s Grotto

No Christmas is complete without a visit to Father Christmas, and the BID is delighted to be bringing Santa’s Grotto to Grosvenor Shopping Northampton this festive season. Important Information Pre-booking is required. All money from this event will be donated to charity. There will be a £1 charge to secure the booking per family, using PayPal.  6 tickets per half hour will be sold to allow a provision of 5 minutes with Santa. The last family to arrive for their half-hour session will have to wait 25 minutes. Families will be able to take their own photos with Santa. Each child will receive a gift.

Royal & Derngate Community Choir at St Peter’s Church

The Royal & Derngate Community Choir are being supported by Northampton Community Foundation to tour some Christmas cheer in December 2022. This amazing group, led by local Musical Director Gareth Fuller, are putting their unique spin on well-loved Christmas songs and writing their own unique uplifting song, inspired by Northampton. The RDCC Christmas Cheer Tour will be an opportunity to spread happiness, to inspire and entertain and for the group to have their debut tour. We recognise how vital singing and community groups are to wellbeing and wish to celebrate what is good in the county and the town through song. The group have recorded and released a Christmas song with Greg Coulson and Gareth Fuller called Please Don’t Feel Alone At Christmas. You can listen to the song below.
