Milton Jones: Ha!milton

Royal and Derngate Theatre 19-21 Guildhall Road, Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN1 1DP

This is not a musical. Milton Jones is tone deaf and has no sense of rhythm, but at least he doesn’t make a song and dance about it. He has more important things to discuss. Like giraffes… and there’s a bit about tomatoes. You might know him from Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo or Radio 4. Or that time he stood for the Scottish National Party, fought a hard campaign, but in the end had to respect the wishes of the people of Cardiff. A whole new show of daftness. You know it makes sense. WARNING* contains jokes from the start.

Will Young: Light It Up

Royal and Derngate Theatre 19-21 Guildhall Road, Northampton, Northamptonshire, NN1 1DP

Will Young returns with forthcoming, ninth studio album, “Light It Up”, due for release on 9 August. To celebrate the new album, Will is embarking on his most intimate tour yet – taking shape as an up close and personal evening of acoustic performances, stories and conversation. New single, Falling Deep, channels the nostalgia of 80s pop with a modern, soulful touch that sits somewhere between The Police and The Weeknd. ‘Falling Deep’ speaks to the sweet surrender of giving into a new experience, however dangerous or out of control it makes you feel. It is the perfect introduction to Will’s first album of originals in five years. Featuring special guest: Rachel Sage.
