Everyone’s favourite 1930’s throwback greetings and compliments aficionado Troy Hawke returns to theatres nationwide with his brand new show. A journey which started with a non-consensual customer service shift outside TK MAXX in Macclesfield has lead him around the world and directly into the orbit of the world’s biggest sporting figures. He’s confused Premiership footballers, been threatened by heavyweight boxers and improved the vocabulary of Formula 1 legends. Life and Art: Elke Pollard Retrospective

Well-known amongst the local art community for her gregarious personality, Elke Pollard created a wide body of work in a variety of media and styles predominantly colourful large-scale portraits and floral still lifes. Alongside her art, Pollard worked as a designer and seamstress. This exhibition will showcase art and design highlights from the life of this influential and prominent Northampton artist.

Royal & Derngate Young Company Acting THE PERIODICALS Set in the near future, a group of young people live as a feral group of techno-savvy fugitives, living off-the land – a.k.a. a rubbish dump. They stay out of sight of the authorities, particularly the education authorities who are desperate to get them back into school. However school has lost its allure. When the young people are in school they are overlooked and underestimated – seen as being more trouble than they are worth. So now, for this group, school’s out forever. Written by by Siân Owen and directed by Jack Smith, our Young Company Acting cast will also be performing this play as part of the National Theatre Connections Festival in April

Jonathan Pie: Hero or Villain? A question often asked and one that Pie hopes to answer in his brand-new live show. Join him as he celebrates the UK’s greatest heroes (Nurses / Gary Lineker / 24-hour off license proprietors) and takes a verbal blowtorch to its villains (The Tories / Cyclists). Marvel in wonder as he kicks in The Establishment’s back doors and rifles through its kitchen cupboards.
