Coram Shakespeare Schools Foundation is a cultural education charity, transforming lives through the unique power of Shakespeare. Our annual Festival provides a platform for up to 30,000 young people to express themselves and grow in confidence as they take to a professional stage. These performances are the culmination of months of work in which young people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities have been finding their voice in school rehearsal rooms.

Join Maz, our dedicated and experienced yoga teacher, who will help you to reset and recharge with an energising yoga flow. You will be treated to a warmig drink of your choice and an energy ball on arrival. We’ll then begin with a meditation session to ground you ready for your uplifting yoga practice. Italian embroidery workshop with Sharn Matthews – Northampton Museum And Art Gallery

Saturday 12 November 10.30am - 12.30pm £12 including all materials Learn a historic quilting technique using simple stitches which can be used as a standalone technique, or in combination with other embroidery stitches, to add texture to your traditional or contemporary creations. In this workshop Sharn will briefly outline the history of corded quilting, including showing a 250-year-old example from the museum’s collection. She will then help participants produce a small sample in a ‘sew along’ session that can be used to make a Christmas card. The workshop will conclude with ideas of how to combine corded quilting with other sewing techniques and which designs work best. This workshop is suitable for both people with limited stitch experience and more experienced embroiderers looking to add to their technique library. Booking essential.
