Taking Liberties! features posters, banners, drawings and collages designed by Jamie Reid with the express purpose of viscerally grabbing the public’s attention, increasing awareness of campaigns for social justice and change.

Found in the Fields is an exhibition of sixteen images by artist Carry Akroyd incorporating words form the poet John Clare, for Akroyd this is a reoccurring theme. Throughout her enjoyment of colour and sense of composition combine productively with her eye for bird life and botany.

Thursday 2 November Northampton Punk Join Alex Novak, local punk expert, record shop owner and musician to discuss the impact the punk revolution had on our town and county. Alex was lead singer in local punk band the ISAWS and later a member of several post-punk bands. He continues to perform for Venus Fly Trap. Speaker: Alex Novak, local author, musician, and record shop owner Thursday 16 November Sustainability; The new Punk? Exploring the world of sustainable fashion, the issues the industry faces and those that are challenging the systems in place. This session will draw parallels from the 1970’s and the emergence of punk with the growing movement of design activism and sustainable fashion today.
