NMPAT Big Sing: School Of Rock

Northamptonshire Music and Performing Arts Trust present an amateur production, by arrangement with The Really Useful Group Ltd, of School of Rock. Based on the Paramount movie written by Mike White, each performance will feature over 500 young people including featured soloists in lead roles. Five years after they set out on their hugely acclaimed 2018 Acoustic Tour, and released its companion album We The Collective, The Levellers will embark upon a brand new Acoustic Tour in 2023 which will be accompanied by a second volume of acoustic reworkings of some of their finest compositions. The 2018 album, which was produced by John Leckie, resulted in their highest chart position in twenty years.

The star of her very own stand-up special Sara Pascoe: LadsLadsLads is back with a brand-new stand-up show! Sara Pascoe is a highly acclaimed comedian, writer, and actor. She wrote and starred in her recent sitcom Out Of Her Mind, and is the celebrated host of The Great British Sewing Bee, Last Woman On Earth, Comedians Giving Lectures and Comedy Central’s Guessable. Sara also wrote and performed the Radio series Modern Monkey and Sara Pascoe vs Monogamy, which was inspired by her first book Animal. Her second book, Sex Power Money, was a Sunday Times bestseller, and the accompanying podcast of the same name garnered millions of listens and multiple award nominations during its run. Nathan Carter has established himself as one of the most popular and best all-round entertainers in Ireland packing the biggest venues. Success led Nathan to follow his dream of becoming a professional entertainer in January 2010. His career took off almost immediately and he single-handedly revived the live music scene in Ireland attracting young fans in their thousands. Following the phenomenal success of the iconic hit song ‘Wagon Wheel’ in 2012, Nathan became an established star in Ireland, outselling One Direction and Drake. Nathan has recorded six number one albums in Ireland and has had a top 20 UK album release with the CD ‘Beautiful Life’. Nathan’s latest  album ‘The Best of the First Ten Years’ released  in November 2020 went straight to Number One in the Irish Album Charts – at a time when he was unable to perform live gigs due to the Covid-19 pandemic. He has used the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021 to re-assess his career and his talents including writing new material for a brand new show.

The ELO Show

Internationally acclaimed musician Brian Cummins brings this stunning show celebrating the music of Jeff Lynne and E.L.O. with a band of amazing musicians including a female string section this will be a fabulous night of hit after hit from such a vast back catalogue. Jeff Lynne and ELO famously carried on the legacy of The Beatles where in the band’s own words wanted to “Carry on from where ‘I am the Walrus’ left off’ and combined Classical music with motifs of the greats with Rock and Roll like no other musician before. The album ‘Out of the Blue’ released in 1977 catapulted them into Rock history and truly made them one of the biggest bands in the world at the time. After many years of touring Jeff parted ways with the band to focus on producing some of the greatest musicians of the time namely, George Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Paul McCartney and The Beatles. Jeff resurrected the ELO legacy in 2014 with a new line-up and a mammoth stage show and has been touring the World Arenas and stadiums to this day. The ELO SHOW has an amazing light and laser show and 3D video screens very similar to Jeff’s current backdrop....

It’s all here…the iconic mop tops and the Chelsea boots, the Sgt Pepper tunics and the Chesterfield suits. Each tiny vocal inflection and each witty Beatle quip, all meticulously studied on this Magical Mystery trip. With a little help from their orchestral ensemble and featuring a special set to commemorate the sixtieth anniversary of the Please Please Me LP, this multi-media show is an absolute must-see for Beatle fans of all ages.
