The last meeting of our programme is our annual set subject competition depicting Religious Subjects from any faith. A competition held in honour of Mrs Humfrey's interest in church photography. up to three entries per person, any mix of prints or projected images.
(Science technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) This is an event being run at Northampton University for children in year 6 to 13. we are currently liaising with the University to see what our involvement can be. More information will be provided to section leaders as it becomes available
The annual exhibition of microscopy, including sales, exhibits, talks and photo competition. This is an opportunity to meet with and also to see what's on offer in the way of sales items. why not bring along an exhibit of your own? Sales and exhibits in the morning and lecture in the afternoon. Guests are very welcome.
Telescopic Topics. A meeting comprising member contributions on various astronomy themes. Your chance to show the section observations you have made, equipment you are using or anything else that has interested you enough to share it with the section. if you have a special interest and would like to participate as a speaker please let the secretary know beforehand. A presentation by society President Mike Longman in memory of recently deceased member, Roger Warren. Detailing two of the greatest photographers and scientific instrument makers of the Victorian Age. followed by Leeuwenhoek and his microscopes, a short video and presentation by Mike Gibson.

We meet fortnightly to work on the Society's Collections, cleaning and sorting them and making databases to facilitate use of them. No previous experience needed, all are welcome. come and have a real "hands-on" pleasure with some fascinating objects.
In association with BBC Radio Northampton. A special drop in all-day event, celebrating the life and work of Antonie Van Leeuwenhoek. There will be short videos, exhibitions and opportunities to use microscopes to explore the hidden world around us. This is a free event open to all members, friends and visitors to the Humfrey Rooms.

Tracey will give us a showcase of images from her tour around the Falklland islands with some stories and experiences along the way. Tracey will be presenting by Zoom, but there will also be an opportunity to participate in the meeting in the Humfrey Rooms as normal.
