This invitation-only event will be screening a selection of short films to secondary school and college age young people. We're showing two films from the NFF 2025 shortlist - plus a selection of films chosen by our Youth Disability Advisory Board made by or starring people with disabilities provided by Oska Bright Film Festival, the world’s leading festival for films made by or featuring people with learning disabilities or autism. Sarah Leigh will take part in a Q&A after the screening of her film 'One For The Road'. All our venues are wheelchair accessible.

NFF 2025 short films: Celebrating Identity (12A)

A selection of short films from documentary to drama, from Northampton and across the country, about people discovering themselves, celebrating their talents and finding their tribe. As well as the films, there will be a chance to discuss the films afterwards. The certificate of this screening is 12A. Doors open at 2pm. Delapre's cafe will be open throughout for refreshments. For the Coffee + Cake ticket, you can swap the coffee for tea or various soft drinks. A variety of cakes will be available on the day. All our venues are wheelchair accessible.

NFF 2025 Opening Gala + prosecco (18)

Join us on the red carpet at the beautiful Delapre Abbey to celebrate the start of Northampton Film Festival 2025. Watch a selection of films, from drama to documentary, comedy and animation, meet some of the filmmakers and also the NFF team. Each ticket includes a glass of prosecco (or a soft drink if you prefer). The Orangery cafe (with limited menu) and bar will be open throughout. Event photo from NFF 2024 by Simon Turner - expect a new red carpet moment for 2025! Doors 6.30pm. The films will show with an interval and time for a Q&A afterwards. The order of films may change. NFF 2025: International Women’s Day short films Selection 1 (PG)

A selection of short films, from animation to music to drama, that have been shortlisted for this year's festival. Come on your own or bring the family. We'll have a colouring book station at the back of the room for any smaller ones who might not want to sit for the whole programme - adults of course also welcome there! Doors at 11am, films starting at 11.30am with a short interval in the middle and some time at the end to discuss the films. The coffee/drink and cake is any coffee, tea or juice box plus a cake of your choice for the daily selection. All our venues are wheelchair accessible.

A selection of short films made by or featuring women from this year's shortlisted films, celebrating women in front of and behind the camera for International Women's Day. We also have a Women in Film 'People Library' - come along and speak to a selection of women working in different roles in the world of Film - ask questions which may help your film career, understand the industry better or to get the inside story on how a film comes together. A 'Librarian' will book in for short conversations. There will also be opportunities to meet other filmmakers and network. Doors and Women In Film People Library opens 1.30pm with first film screening at 2.30pm. There will be a short interval in the middle of the films then another chance to visit the People Library - but we highly recommend arriving from 1.30pm if you want to visit the library - it is will be operated on a first come first served basis - the 'Librarian' will get as many people to see our 'books' as possible! Films to make you smile! What better for a Sunday morning than just over an hour of joy and jokes. Oh, and of course drains. Animation, drama and documentary. Doors 11.30am, films 12pm. Please arrive in good time before 12pm if you're getting a coffee. There will also be a chance to discuss the films after the screening. The cafe will also be open throughout. There will be a selection of cakes to choose from and instead of coffee you can have a tea or juice box if you prefer. This film has a 12A certificate
