A selection of short films made by or featuring women from this year’s shortlisted films, celebrating women in front of and behind the camera for International Women’s Day.
We also have a Women in Film ‘People Library’ – come along and speak to a selection of women working in different roles in the world of Film – ask questions which may help your film career, understand the industry better or to get the inside story on how a film comes together. A ‘Librarian’ will book in for short conversations. There will also be opportunities to meet other filmmakers and network.
Doors and Women In Film People Library opens 6pm with first film screening at 7pm.
There will be a short interval in the middle of the films then another chance to visit the People Library – but we highly recommend arriving from 6pm if you want to visit the library – it will be operated on a first come first served basis – the ‘Librarian’ will get as many people to see our ‘books’ as possible!
Your ticket comes with a drink which can be a glass of wine, bottled beer or soft drink. The Orangery cafe bar will also be open during the evening.
This screening has a 18 certificate – if you would like any possible trigger warnings, please read the descriptions of the films then get in touch if you’d like more detail info@northamptonfilmfestival.co.uk
All our venues are wheelchair accessible.
