Join the Surplus Stock Appeal and support adult cancer patients whilst boosting your sustainability goals.
We’re reaching out to invite your business to support an inspiring campaign by The Lewis Foundation – one that makes a real difference to the lives of adult cancer patients while helping businesses like yours reduce waste and improve sustainability.
The Surplus Stock Appeal is a creative way for town centre businesses to donate surplus, end-of-line, or discontinued stock, and turn these items into comfort, support and happiness for cancer patients undergoing treatment.
“I had a very traumatic time when I had my chemotherapy, so it was lovely to receive a free gift bag. I opened it to find a magazine – a luxury I don’t usually indulge in – and lots of stories, puzzles and sweets to keep me going for the next few days. It was a wonderful surprise to receive a card written by one of the charity’s supporters too, which I will keep in my memory box. The Lewis Foundation brought a little sunshine into a very difficult day.”

About The Lewis Foundation
This incredible local charity delivers over 2,000 free gift packs a month to adult cancer patients in 17 hospitals across the Midlands. Each pack is designed to bring positivity to individuals during one of the toughest times in their lives.
Donated items are used in various ways, including:
- Re-sale at the charity’s popular outlet store in Grosvenor Shopping Northampton, where proceeds directly fund their work
- Used as items in the gift packs
- Used within The Lewis Foundation Café’s at Northampton Museum & Art Gallery and The Elgar Centre
- Repurposed as prizes for fundraising and tombola events
The Lewis Foundation has already generated significant funds since the Surplus Stock Appeal began – more than £75,000 since 2023. Your support will boost this total.
