Our very own The Actors Company takes on one of the giants of modern classic theatre, directed by Scott Bradley. Bertolt Brecht’s epic play is vast in its scope, yet human at its heart, setting the grotesque against the hilarious, with a backdrop of war and revolution.
Featuring live and looped soundscapes using the incredible skills of spoken word poet and musician David Bowden (Word Guerrilla) this exciting and dynamic production explores themes of justice, motherhood and social corruption through the medium of a distant fairy tale, the ‘play within the play’.
