The Wild Tribe are working in collaboration with Library Plus to reach their target of delivering 1000 Little Boxes of Joy to the vulnerable communities of Northamptonshire this festive season. The boxes themselves will be beautifully curated parcels and they will distribute them across the libraries in their county.

Each box will include earth-friendly materials for a meditative craft activity, a selection of self-care gifts such as a book, bath bomb, letter writing set, also a gratitude reflection task, and finally access to our online Learning Hub. We will also include a range of resources signposting people to local warm spaces, clubs, and free activities across the county.

Isolation, loneliness, and the cost of living crisis means thousands of vulnerable communities in Northamptonshire will be struggling this Christmas. We know we can’t solve all of this with a box, but if this small gift can bring a smile or feeling of community connection to one person this year that is a small but mighty thing!

We are asking people to donate a minimum of £5 which will pay for the materials and printing elements for 1 Little Box of Joy. Every sponsor will be given social media tiles and a final impact report when the project is finished! We will also be asking local organisations to make larger donations to the project – please keep your eye on The Wild Tribe’s socials to see updates!
