Northampton’s Community Courtyard, whose activities are usually based in Gold Street, are currently holding their events online.
They offer a mix of youth and community work. Here are a few highlights:
Youthwork
- Gaming – Mondays to Fridays, 12.30pm-1.30pm
- Crafternoon – Wednesdays to Fridays, 3pm-4pm
Other sessions include chitchatting, yard project, board games and dramarama.
Community Work
- Story time – Mondays, 7pm-9pm. Join via zoom HERE.
- Family support, one to one appointments available – Fridays, 10am-8pm
- ESOL classes – Saturdays and Sundays, 9am to 9pm
Community Court Yard is a not for profit social enterprise that seeks to create a better world, through the delivery of social education projects which at their core are based around grassroots community engagement, specifically targeting young people and ex-offenders and their families.
Community Court Yard focuses on social education, and aspires to create ‘social change for the individual and the wider community’.
