As a result of COVID-19 and to enable us to support you in recovery in this unprecedented situation, the Government has allowed Northampton town centre BID to be extended until the end of March 2021.
This means that we have been able to reschedule our BID’s renewal ballot to February 2021 (from its original date of this October).
The current BID arrangements, plans and levy criteria will therefore continue until the end of March 2021. This means there will be a pro rata levy bill raised in December to cover the final three months of our Business Improvement District (BID).
New BID plan priorities to be reviewed
Because the BID’s duration is being extended to March 2021 we have more time to work closely with you to develop the objectives and priorities for the new BID Plan, 2021-2026.
Besides working closely with you in the next few weeks and months to provide support, we would appreciate your thoughts on what you will need longer term and how the BID will need to work in this new world.
Pre-COVID-19 some of you had already participated in discussions about your priorities for the future.
However in the light of these dramatic times, we will be contacting you over the next few weeks to understand your new priorities and ensure that these are reflected in the new BID plan for 2021 – 2026.
